Batch Processing

by Magnus Equipment Co

Magnus manufactures a wide range of standard Air Powered Mechanical Immersion Agitation washers, a technology innovated and developed by Magnus more than 60 years ago. The Magnus agitating method is far more effective than any other conventional method and is the best method to clean, degrease, de-carbonize, strip, quench, pickle and apply protective coatings to your parts.

The agitating method is simple: moving the dirty parts up and down in the process solution up to 160 times per minute (on the short stroke) shears dirt from the parts. Using the long stroke will bring the parts up and out of the solution and help with flushing the part. Large parts are placed on a part fixture for individual washing or in a basket for smaller parts. At each vertical motion the solution reaches all part surfaces including the deep recesses, removing dirt and grease using all types of cleaning compounds such as alkaline, solvents, emulsions, phosphate, acid and soaps.
