In-Line Conveyorized Part Cleaning

by Magnus Equipment Co

In-line individual part cleaning is the most sought after process for many industries today.

Power Sonics has developed a unique radial transducer and generator combination based on our years of experience with continuous in-line cleaning from the Wire Industry. This product line provides 360-degree ultrasonic exposure in most models. These are small footprint, integrated machines with multiple process stage capacity and high-speed production capacity.

Continuous flow means that product can be flowing without interruption for batching, requiring less manpower and reducing work in process, inventory and costs. These systems can accept products directly from an upstream machine and clean and dry the product passing it directly to the next downstream operation without operator interface.

Typical applications include:

Remove oils/chips from small parts following screw machine operations
Remove dirt and compound from silicon wafers and discs
Remove oils/chips from small part following stamping operations
Clean random feed small parts in continuous flow operations
Clean fixtured small parts in continuous flow operations
Clean assembled bearings
Clean parts and assemblies in light manufacturing oils
Clean oils and chips from header operations
Clean springs from forming operations
Clean machined parts in fixtures or random orientation
Clean machined part assemblies
